By the third or fourth visit, you'll know exactly what your skin's reaction is and how to prepare for it. I work fast on purpose - quick application and quick removal generate the least total sensation per pull.

How long does a bikini line wax take?

Around fifteen minutes from the moment you're settled on the bed to finished. That includes any tidying with tweezers around the edges and a calming product applied at the end. If you're new to me, the first appointment runs slightly longer because we'll talk through the technique and aftercare before starting.

How long should my hair be before a bikini wax?

Accepted Answer

Around half a centimetre is ideal - long enough for the wax to grip, short enough to break cleanly. If your hair is much shorter than that, the wax may miss patches and we'll end up with uneven results. If much longer, the pull is harder than it needs to be. I'd suggest avoiding it. Skin sensitivity peaks in the week before your period and stays elevated during. The week after your period gives the most comfortable experience. If timing is tight, we can still do it - just expect the sensation to feel sharper than usual. Always your call once you know the trade-off.

How long does the smooth result last?

Four to six weeks for most people. Some skin types regrow faster, some slower. Most regular clients book every four weeks year-round, or every five to six in winter when the area is not as visible. After a couple of cycles you'll know your own rhythm and we can settle into a regular slot.

What is the difference between bikini line, Brazilian, and Hollywood?

Accepted Answer

Bikini line stays at the edge of standard underwear and leaves the rest. Brazilian removes most hair and leaves a small strip or triangle. Hollywood is full removal from the whole intimate area.
