These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Skincare & Waxing website (skincarewaxing.co.uk) and services. By using the Site or booking treatments, you agree to these Terms.

1. Booking & Appointments

All treatments can be booked online through Fresha, by phone (07821 781807), by WhatsApp, or by email (maria@skincarewaxing.co.uk).

A confirmed booking constitutes an agreement to attend at the scheduled time. I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Clients who are more than 10 minutes late may forfeit their appointment or have the treatment time shortened. A rescheduling fee of £25 may apply for late cancellations or no-shows.

Patch tests are required for all new clients at least 24 hours before any tinting or lash lifting treatment. Treatments cannot proceed without a completed patch test.

2. Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for a period of six months from the date of purchase. After the expiry date, the vouchers will no longer be accepted. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

The terms regarding late cancellation and “failure to show” also apply to gift voucher appointments. If you fail to provide the required notice, the gift voucher will be voided at the salon.

Gift Vouchers for Skincare & Waxing can be used as full or partial payment for treatments or products offered. If the value of the treatments or products is less than the face value of the voucher, no change will be given. However, the remaining balance will be retained on the Gift Voucher and can be used for future visits.

If the value of the treatments or products exceeds the face value of the Gift Voucher, the voucher holder will be required to pay the difference.

3. Third Party Vouchers

Clients with third party vouchers who are more than 10 minutes late or fail to show up for their scheduled appointment will forfeit their full voucher treatment without exception.

Appointments must be scheduled and completed before the voucher’s expiry date. No appointments will be honoured after the expiry date.

A rescheduling fee of £25 applies to all clients with a third party voucher. Clients who fail to provide 48 hours’ notice of cancellation will forfeit their voucher completely.

4. Payment

Payment is due at the time of treatment. I accept cash, card payments, and gift vouchers.

Prices are listed on my Services & Prices page. I reserve the right to update prices at any time. Any price changes will be reflected on the website and booking system before they take effect.

5. Health & Safety

It is your responsibility to inform me of any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or skin sensitivities that may affect your treatment.

I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a treatment if I believe it may not be safe or suitable for you.

If you are pregnant or have any health concerns, please let me know before booking. Some treatments may not be suitable during pregnancy.

6. Results & Expectations

Individual results may vary. I do not guarantee specific outcomes from any treatment.

Some treatments require multiple sessions for best results. I will advise you on a recommended treatment plan during your appointment.

Following aftercare advice is important for optimal results. I will provide aftercare instructions where applicable.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Skincare & Waxing grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, and revocable licence to access and use the Site from one device, in accordance with these Terms.

You shall not use the Site for unlawful or prohibited purposes, and you may not disable, damage, or interfere with the Site.

All content present on the Site, including text, code, graphics, logos, images, compilation, and software, is the property of Skincare & Waxing and is protected by intellectual property laws. You agree to respect all copyright and other proprietary notices and restrictions contained in the content and are prohibited from modifying the content.

8. Skincare & Waxing Materials

By posting, uploading, providing, or submitting your content (including reviews, testimonials, or photos shared with permission), you grant Skincare & Waxing the right to use your content in connection with the operation of the business. This includes transmitting, displaying, distributing, and reproducing your content, as well as publishing your first name in connection with your content.

No compensation will be provided for the use of your content, and Skincare & Waxing has the right to remove your content at any time.

9. Third Party Sites

The Site may include links to other sites, applications, and platforms (“Linked Sites”). Skincare & Waxing does not control the Linked Sites and is not responsible for their content and materials. These links are provided for the functionality or convenience of the Site.

10. Limitation of Liability

The information available on the Site may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies. Skincare & Waxing is not liable for such inaccuracies and errors.

Skincare & Waxing makes no representations about the availability, accuracy, reliability, suitability, and timeliness of the content and services provided on the Site. All such content and services are provided on an “as is” basis.

In no event shall Skincare & Waxing be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of enjoyment, data, or profits, arising from the use of the Site or its services.

11. Limitations of Site Use

You may not use the Skincare & Waxing website for the following purposes: circulating any unlawful, harassing, abusive, obscene, or objectionable material; gaining unauthorised access to other computer systems; interfering with another person’s use or enjoyment of the Site; making, transmitting, or storing electronic copies of copyrighted materials without permission.

You shall not use automated means, such as bots or spiders, to access or collect information from the Site without the prior written consent of Skincare & Waxing.

12. Miscellaneous

The governing law of these Terms shall be the substantive laws of England and Wales.

No joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship shall be implied between you and Skincare & Waxing as a result of the Terms or your use of the Site.

If any part of the Terms is determined to be void or unenforceable, the remaining parts and sections of the Terms shall continue to be applicable.

The Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Skincare & Waxing regarding the use of the Site, superseding all prior communications and offers.

13. Information About You And Your Visits To My Site

By using the Site, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Skincare & Waxing’s Privacy Policy. You warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

14. Complaints

Skincare & Waxing is committed to resolving any complaints about the collection or use of your personal data, or about treatments and services. If you have any complaints, please contact me at maria@skincarewaxing.co.uk.

I will respond to your complaint as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days. If you believe that your complaint has not been adequately resolved, you have the right to contact your local data protection supervisory authority.
