Bespoke Facial Treatments &
Skin Analysis in Kirkham

I offer a range of facial treatments in Kirkham tailored to your skin’s individual needs — not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Your skin is unique

and it deserves a treatment that reflects that. I don’t follow a set facial menu — I assess your skin on the day and build your treatment around what it actually needs. I work exclusively with Dermaviduals, a professional-grade skincare line based on corneotherapy — the science of supporting your skin’s natural barrier. Every product is custom-blended. Every treatment is different. Because your skin is never the same twice.

THE APPROACH

How a Bespoke Facial Works

Every facial begins with a proper assessment. I look at your skin under professional lighting, check hydration levels, barrier health, and any changes since your last visit. This isn’t a quick glance — it’s how I decide what your skin needs today.

From there, I select the products and techniques specifically for you. Depending on what your skin requires, I may use LED light therapy, high frequency, Gua Sha, micro-current, or a combination of modalities. The Dermaviduals products I apply are mixed and adapted for your individual skin chemistry.

There’s no set routine. Two clients on the same day might receive completely different treatments — because their skin needs are different.

THE SCIENCE

The Science Behind the Approach

I trained in the Florence Barrett-Hill Pastiche method — a clinical skin assessment framework used by skin therapists worldwide. It means I don’t just treat symptoms. I look for root causes. Why is your skin dry? Why are you breaking out in that specific area? What’s your barrier doing?

The products I use reflect this approach. Dermaviduals is built on corneotherapy — the science of repairing and maintaining your skin’s protective barrier. These are not off-the-shelf products. They’re professional-grade formulations that work with your skin’s natural chemistry, not against it.

You won’t find Dermaviduals in shops. Every formulation is adapted to the individual client — which is exactly why they work.

WHO IT’S FOR

Who Are These Treatments For?

My facials are suitable for a wide range of skin types and concerns. Here are some of the most common reasons clients book:

Skin that needs attention. If you’re dealing with persistent dryness, sensitivity, redness, breakouts, or uneven texture — a bespoke approach lets me address what’s actually going on, not just cover it up.

Clients ready for real results. This isn’t a relaxation facial with candles and background music. It’s a proper skin treatment. If you want your skin to genuinely improve over time, this is the approach.

Women over 30 noticing changes. Hormonal shifts, environmental stress, and years of using the wrong products can change how your skin behaves. Understanding why that’s happening is the first step to addressing it.

Existing waxing clients. Many of my waxing regulars have been coming to me for years. A Skin Analysis is an easy way to find out what else your skin might benefit from — no commitment, just honest advice.

DERMALUX LED PHOTOTHERAPY

Professional-grade Light Therapy For Your Skin

I use the Dermalux Flex MD — a medically certified LED device that delivers three clinically proven wavelengths of light to rejuvenate, repair, and protect your skin.

Unlike LED masks you can buy online, this is professional-grade technology used in dermatology clinics across the UK. It works by energising your skin cells with specific wavelengths of light — Red for collagen and firmness, Blue for clearing blemish-causing bacteria, and Near-Infrared for deep tissue repair and calming inflammation.

I include Dermalux LED as part of my bespoke facials when your skin needs it. But you can also book it as a standalone 30-minute treatment — perfect as a skin boost before a special occasion, or as a targeted course for concerns like acne, rosacea, or pigmentation.

The treatment is completely painless, requires no downtime, and is safe for all skin types — including sensitive skin.

What to Expect

What to Expect From Your Facial

Before

No special preparation is needed. Come as you are — I’ll remove any makeup at the start of your appointment. If you’re booking for the first time, I recommend starting with a Skin Analysis so I can assess your skin properly before your first facial.

During

You’ll be in a private treatment room throughout. I’ll explain what I’m doing and why as we go — you’ll never be left wondering what’s being applied to your skin. Most clients find the experience deeply relaxing, even though this is a results-focused treatment.

After

Your skin should feel comfortable, balanced, and well looked after. I’ll give you clear aftercare advice and, if appropriate, recommend products or a follow-up schedule. There’s no hard sell — just honest guidance based on what your skin needs.

Results

Some clients see visible improvement after a single session. For ongoing skin concerns, I typically recommend a programme of treatments tailored to your goals. We’ll discuss what makes sense for you during the appointment.

Questions & Answers

Most salon facials follow a set menu — the same steps and products for every client. My approach is different. I assess your skin at the start of every session and build the treatment around what your skin needs that day. The products, techniques, and focus areas are all chosen specifically for you. It’s the difference between a one-size-fits-all routine and a genuinely personalised treatment.

I recommend it. A Skin Analysis gives me a thorough understanding of your skin before we start any treatment — hydration levels, barrier health, sensitivity, and what your current routine is doing for you. It’s one hour, £30, and it means your first facial is targeted from the very start rather than based on guesswork. You’ll also leave with clear advice on your skincare routine.

It depends on your skin and your goals. For general skin maintenance, once every 4–6 weeks works well. If we’re addressing specific concerns — like barrier damage, congestion, or sensitivity — I may recommend a course of treatments closer together initially, then spacing them out. We’ll discuss what makes sense for you during your appointment.

Yes — and in many cases, sensitive skin is exactly what benefits most from this approach. Dermaviduals products are designed to support and repair the skin barrier, which is often compromised in sensitive skin. I adjust every treatment to your skin’s tolerance level. Nothing harsh, nothing aggressive — just careful, science-based care.

Dermaviduals is a professional-grade skincare line based on corneotherapy — the science of maintaining and repairing your skin’s natural protective barrier. Unlike most skincare brands, Dermaviduals products are formulated to match your skin’s own chemistry. They’re not available in shops — each product is adapted specifically for the client. I chose Dermaviduals because it aligns with how I believe skin should be treated: support the barrier, address root causes, and let your skin do what it does best.

Not here. While many clients do find the experience relaxing, my facials are results-focused skin health treatments. The goal is genuine improvement in your skin’s condition — hydration, texture, clarity, barrier strength. If you want a purely relaxation-focused treatment, there are great options out there. If you want your skin to actually change, this is the approach.

A single session gives an instant boost — your skin will look more hydrated and radiant straight away. For specific concerns like acne, rosacea, or pigmentation, I recommend a course of 10 sessions for lasting results. We can discuss the right plan during a Skin Analysis.

A single session gives a noticeable glow, but for lasting results I recommend a course of treatments. For general skin rejuvenation, 5–6 sessions is a good starting point. For specific concerns like acne, rosacea, or pigmentation, a course of 10 sessions typically delivers the best results. I’ll recommend the right plan for you during a Skin Analysis or at your first appointment.

No. The Dermalux Flex MD I use is a medical-grade device with significantly more power and precision than consumer masks. It delivers clinically proven wavelengths at therapeutic doses — the light reaches the depth needed for real cellular change. At-home devices are much weaker and cannot produce the same results.
