Is pressotherapy treatment painful?

No. The compression is firm but even, and you stay fully clothed throughout. Most clients find it deeply relaxing - some fall asleep before the cycle ends. If anything ever feels uncomfortable, we adjust the pressure level or stop the cycle early. Comfort is the baseline.

Question 2

How long until I notice a difference?

Accepted Answer

Most clients feel a difference immediately - lighter legs, less of that heavy-week feeling. Whether it lasts beyond a day depends on lifestyle. Combined with hydration, walking, and decent sleep, the lighter feeling tends to hold longer. Pressotherapy supports your body, it does not replace movement.

Question 3

Can I have pressotherapy during pregnancy?

Not without medical clearance. Pregnancy changes circulation in ways that need GP or midwife sign-off before any compression therapy. If you are pregnant and would like to discuss it, please bring written clearance to your appointment. I will happily build a plan around what your medical team approves.

How often should I have pressotherapy?

Accepted Answer

Monthly suits most clients. Fortnightly works better for those on their feet all day or travelling regularly. Weekly is rarely necessary outside of demanding seasons. The honest answer is that you do not need a high frequency to feel the benefit, and I would rather you book what you actually want than what fills my calendar.

Question 5

Can I add pressotherapy to my facial?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The 5-minute add-on at £20 fits inside any bespoke facial. The compression garment runs during the cooling and mask phases of the facial, so both treatments finish at the same time. If you want it built in by default, the Bespoke Facial Plus with Pressotherapy package handles that for you.

Question 6

Is pressotherapy treatment safe for varicose veins or circulation issues?

Accepted Answer

If you have varicose veins under specialist care, a history of deep vein thrombosis, lymphedema diagnosis, or any other circulation condition, please speak to your GP first. Pressotherapy is a wellness service, not a medical treatment. With clearance, we can discuss how to incorporate it. Without clearance, I will not run the session.
