It looks opaque and pale, and it can hide your colour completely for a couple of weeks. The pigment is still there underneath. Wait it out, and colour resurfaces between week three and week six.

Yes, gently, after the first three days. Use a soft cleanser, avoid the brow area directly, and pat dry rather than rub. For the first three days, keep the brows completely dry. The detailed aftercare instructions cover the full timeline and are sent home with you after your appointment.

Most things that look alarming during the heal are normal. The rest of the semi permanent brows healing process is gradual and predictable. Watch for increasing pain past day three, spreading redness beyond the brow area, worsening swelling after day three, pus, fever, or feeling unwell. For any of those, message me and contact your GP or NHS 111 the same day. Trust your gut.
